Residents

We would like to thank all of our residents for helping make Chickamauga a great place to live and visit. With all of the help and support from our residents, we have been able to preserve and maintain our beautiful city. In the year 2000 the City eliminated property taxes for their residents, becoming one of only 72 cities in the United States to do so. City school taxes are the only taxes our residents are required to pay and with this support our schools have had many years of recognitions by the state of Georgia for it's excellence. Go Trojan Pride!
